Tater is doing great. The first month together, we took it really slow with introducing new things and new places, so he had plenty of time to get to know me and his fur sis Elsie. And now, he is actually excited to meet new people and to explore new places. It’s rare that he gets nervous now, which is lovely to see.
He has such a wonderful personality! Tater has a few toys he loves to play with, and he and Elsie play fight occasionally. Elsie never chose to play with other dogs before Tater joined our family, so it’s great to see a new side of her personality come out too!
But, let’s be honest, belly rubs and snuggles are Tater’s favorite thing. And Elsie and I don’t mind snuggles either. :) These dogs are great with each other - a great match of energy level and sweet spirits. I’m doubly blessed! My parents took the pups while I went to London to see my sister. She already loved Elsie, but fell in love with Tater and his sweetness. My mom has never cared for small dogs in general, but after spending time with my wonderful pups, she is now considering adopting a small dog. So, these pups are ambassadors for how amazing small dogs can be.
Please tell Tater’s foster mom thank you for taking such good care of him and giving him love!
