Maggie (formerly Maddie)

Posted on June 1, 2020

Maggie turns 7 years old this month. She came to us 4 years ago having been found in a field in California. She was an extremely timid little girl. Thanks to the help of PUP training and advice we began her journey to becoming the sassy little terrier she was meant to be.

The training environment provided a safe and positive place for her to be among people and other dogs. I also found many owners w/dogs in my neighborhood willing to stop for a minute to give her a chance to grow socially. We now go to training just to have fun doing agility and other fun experiences.

Maggie now has 3 neighborhood friends about her size with whom she wants to play. I can't tell you what joy I feel as she chases around the yard with them. In the last 2 years she has begun to climb into my lap during times of sadness to comfort me in the loss of my husband.

What a blessed person I am. Thank you PUP for finding her for me.
