Ellie (was Yellanah)

Posted on July 25, 2017

Here's a photo of Ellie on the day she was adopted, 5/27. It's only been a few days but she has inspected the entire house, found favorite spots for a nap, loves chasing up and down the stairs, and she now knows her new name. She is happy to meet other dogs, friendly with people, and thinks she should be the center of affection. In other words: she is perfect!

More photos later after her short hair grows out and we see if the Bichon Frise or Poodle (or both) show up after grooming.

It’s been a few months since I adopted Ellie, and this handsome girl is now showing that she is a goofball. A quiet goofball ready for any adventure, nothing bothers her. Someone loved her because Ellie knows all the commands and we’re still working out when she will actually do them! We’ve progressed to loose leash walking so we’re both learning about each other.

Ellie likes to go for walks, chase a squeaky toy, explore the back yard, and monitor the traffic on the street from any number of windows, racing frantically from one to the other. Thanks for bringing her up from California. I’m sorry her original owner couldn’t keep her, she a wonderful dog.

Ellie was groomed today, so here’s a before and after photo.
