Seven years ago on June 24th, our Bichon-Poodle Andre came into our lives. He arrived by transport from California, matted and starved, possibly taken out of a puppy mill. His healthy weight today is 22 lbs, yet he came to me 7 years ago at 12 lbs., skinny and shaved.
His foster parents were wonderful with him, integrating him into their home and helping him with his housebreaking. I continue to be amazed at how resilient these pups are, forgiving their past and embracing their present and future.
Andre is a delight. My daughter-in-law calls him Romeo for his snuggles and loving nature. I am forever grateful to PUP and to his foster for their part in the rescue of our beloved boy.
