Wookie

I'm not even sure you remember me as it's been so long! But I do remember you, and still follow the org. My heart is hurting badly, but I wanted to share with you the passing of "Wookie" Cozzens on December 22, 2020 at Aloha Dog & Cat hospital in Oregon.

Wookie turned 16 years old this month. It is very fresh, and one main difficulty has been that all my routines are broken. We were so connected and intertwined 24x7, so I'm very slowly adjusting to this.

Wookie was a wonderful companion for me. It was just me and him all these years although he did stay with my mom for about 6 months to help me out when i had an out of state contract for work. My mom was so moved by Wookie, that she ended up rescuing a shih-tzu for herself as well !

I want to thank you for connecting me with Wookie 15 years ago! What a cool dog and my best friend.

Wookie loved to sit with me on my recliner, but perhaps his favorite thing was long car trips! He was an excellent road-trip companion. Wookie has been around a bit, having lived primarily in Washington &Oregon but also short term stays in Montana and spent time visiting my late grandmother in Wyoming as well. Everybody loved Wookie.

Thank you so much PUP for connecting me with Wookie!
