Griffin

I just wanted to let you know that we lost our dear, beloved, mini-Aussie, Griffin this past weekend. He had canine cognitive dysfunction and his anxiety, confusion, and fear were just too much. We could no longer allow him to suffer.

With so many tears in my eyes, I just wanted to express my extreme gratitude to you for rescuing him for us. We met him in April of 2013 and knew we were not leaving without him. He was just supposed to be with us. This was the pic for his adoption profile and when we first fell in love with him:

A shy little guy at first, we had all the love and patience in the world to help him become more confident. Over the years, he really just flourished. He has also been such an amazing brother to Draco (formerly Ricardo), and is greatly missed by him right now as well.

He was so handsome and so very loved- and loved the snow too! I just wanted to make sure you all knew that he had the BEST life that we could give him. Thank you again for bringing him into our lives.

-Heather & Neil (and Draco too)
